Bayyath Through The Website

We, the administrators of www.sheiknazim.com, had the honour of visiting Mawlana Sheikh Nazim in Lefke, Cyprus, during February–March 2006. During our visit, we told Mawlana Sheikh Nazim that many people from around the world were asking how they could take Bay‘ah with him, as they either did not have Naqshbandi centers in their countries or were residing far from existing centers. For these sincere seekers, it was difficult to formally take Bayyath and enter the Most Distinguished Naqshbandi Tariqat.

We humbly requested Mawlana Sheikh Nazim to grant an alternative method through which these people could take Bayyath. In his immense mercy and spiritual foresight, Mawlana Sheikh Nazim gave us the glad tidings of an easy way - by granting permission for Bayyath to be taken through this very website, www.sheiknazim.com.

We thank Allah Almighty and Mawlana Sheikh Nazim for these great glad tidings, which enable people all over the world to connect with Mawlana Sheikh Nazim and the Naqshbandi Tariqat, and to become murids of Mawlana Sheikh Nazim. May Allah Almighty bless our Great Sultan ul-Awliya, Mawlana Sheikh Nazim, for granting this easy and accessible way to take Bay‘ah. This method is given without any conditions and may be used by anyone sincerely seeking guidance.

This blessed method of Bayyath was provided by Mawlana Sheikh Nazim on the 12th day of March 2006, at his house, around 2:30 PM, following Zuhr and Sohbet. It is to be performed in the following manner:

THE METHOD

Look at the picture given above ( Moulana was specific about this particular photograph ) and raise your right hand and say “Assalamu alaikum Ya Sultan al Awliya Maulana Sheik Nazim al Haqqani I put my hand in your hand and ask from you Bayyath to become your mureed and to follow the Tariqat un Naqshabandiyatil Aliyya.”

You may also say "Allahu Allahu Allahu Haqq" - 3 times

You may also recite Fathiha on Prophet Muhammad (sal), Shah Bahaudeen Naqshaband (ral), Sultan ul Awliya Grandsheikh Abdullah Faiz Dagistani and on Moulana Sheikh Nazim al Haqqani.

IMPORTANT NOTE

After the passing of Mawlana Sheikh Nazim (QS), we sought guidance from Mawlana Sheikh Mehmet Adil (QS), who succeeded him as the Grandshaykh of the Tariqa, on whether we should continue using Mawlana Sheikh Nazim’s name and picture for the Bayyath or update them with those of Mawlana Sheikh Mehmet. In response, he instructed us to continue with his noble father’s name and picture for Bayyath, and therefore we have kept them unchanged.

Please note that the Bayyath taken through this page is fully valid. Through this Bayyath, the mureed is placed under the spiritual guidance and authority of Mawlana Sheikh Mehmet Adil, the present Grandshaykh of the Naqshbandi Haqqani Order, and becomes one of his mureeds. If the person who takes Bayyath through this page later has the opportunity to meet Sheikh Mehmet in person, they may renew it directly with him. In all cases, the Bayyath taken through this page remains valid and recognized.
