Contents of the Khatam ul Khawajagan Dhikr



NIYYATH - Intention : To perfom the Zikr (Khatm) seeking the Rida ( pleasure) of Allah

Almighty.


Ash’hadu an la ilaha il-Allahu wa-ash’hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasooluhu.

(3 times)


I bear witness that there is no God but Allah and I further bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah


Astaghfi-rullah (25times)


I ask Allah forgiveness (With that the Imam carries on with):


Allazeei la ilaha illa Huwal- Hayyu-l Qayyoomu wa athoobu ilayhi. Innahu Huwa-Tawwabur Raheem. Ya musabbibal asbaab, ‘Ya Mufatthihal abwaab, Ya Muqallibal quloobi wal absaar, Ya Daleelal Mutkhayyireen, Ya Ghiyasa-l Mustaghaeeseen, Ya Hayyu, Ya Qayyoom, Ya zal Jalali wal ikram. Wa ufawwilhu amree ilallahi, innallaha baseerun bil’ibaad.


There is no God except Allah. He is the sustainer and ever living, I ask for forgiveness from Him and He is most forgiving and Merciful. Oh! Originator of causes, Turner of heart and perception, Guide of the perplexed and the Helper of the seeker of help. The Mighty and the Most Gracious, I entrust my affairs to Almighty Allah: verily Allah is watchful over his slaves.


Rabitatus Shareefa: Visualise yourself before Sheik Nazim with love (muhabbah) and determination (himmah).


Sura Fathiha…(The Opening) (7 times)

Bismillah ir Rahman ir Raheem

Alhamdulillahi rabbil alameen

Ar rahman ir Raheem

Maaliki yaumiddheen

Iyyaka na'budu wa iyyaka nasthaeen

Ihdhinas sirathal musthakeen

Siraat allazeena an amtha alaihim

Ghairil maghloobi alaihim Walallaalleen.

Oh Allah bestow Your Mercy on Muhammad (sal) and on all his descendants

At the end of each recite “Allahu Akbar”.


Bismillah ir Rahman ir Raheem

Alam nashrah laka sadarak,wa wala'ana anka vizara kallazee ankala laharak

Wara fahna laka zikarak,fa innama al usri yusran wa innama al usri yusrah,

Fa izaa faragh'ata fansab, wa ila rabbika farghab.


In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate,

And eased thee of the burden

Which weighed down thy back;

And exalted thy fame?

But lo! With hardship Goes ease,

Lo! With hardship Goes ease;

So when thou art relieved, still toil

And strive to please thy Lord.

At the end of each recite “Allahu Akbar”

Kul huwallahu ahad, Allahu samad

Lam yalid walam yoolad

Walamya kunllahu kufuwan ahad


In the name of Allah the Most Beneficent, the Most merciful

Say: Allah is One, Allah is the Absolute

He begets not nor was He begotten

There is non like unto Him

Imam recites:


A’udhu billahi minash shaithan ir rajeem. Bismilla hir rahman irraheem. Rabbi qad aatayta nee minal mulki wa allmthanee min ta’weelil ahadeeth. Faathiras sama wa thi wal arli, anta waliyyee fid-dunya wal a’khira. Thawaffani Musliman wa al-hikni bissaliheen. Amanna billahi sadaqallahul alheem. Subhana Rabbika rabbil izzati amma yasifoon, wa salamun alal mur saleena wal hamdu lillahi Rabbil A’lameen.


I seek refuge with Allah from the cursed shaitan. In the Name of Allah the Most Beneficent and Most Merciful. Oh my Lord You have indeed bestowed on me some power. And taught me something of the interpretation of dreams and events. Oh You Creater of the Heavens and the Earth! You are my protector in this world and in the hereafter. Take You my soul as one submitting to Your will and unite me with the righteous.


Du’a recited by Imam:


Ila sharafin Nabiyyi sal-Allahu alaihi wa sallam, wa alihi wa sahbihi, wa arwahi anbiyai wal mur-saleena wa khudama-ish shara-i-him, wa ila a-immatil arba’a, wa ila masha-i-khina fit tareeqatin naqshabandhiyya til aliyya khaasatan ila ahlil khwajaganal fathiha.


To the noble Prophet of Allah – peace be upon him – to his progeny and to his Companions (Sahaba) and in remembrance of the souls of the prophets and messengers; and to the memory of the Imams of Shariah; and to the memory of our Sheiks of the most distinguished Tariqatun Naqshbandhia; and in particular in remembrance of the closest clans of Khwajagan, I recite the blessings of Sura Fathiha.


(All recite Sura Fathiha quietly)


Imam leads all to recite Zikr: Fa’lam annahu: La ilaha illaha. (everyone recites La ilaha illallah…) – as many as they like; may be 100 or more. Often break up with:


Muhammadur Rasoolu-ullahi alaihi sala tullahi

Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Allah’s salutation be upon him.


Muhammadun Habeebullahi alaihi sala thullahi

Muhammad is the beloved of Allah. Allah’s salutation be upon him.


Muhammadun Nabiyyullahi alaihi sala thullahi

Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah. Allah’s salutation be upon him.


At the conclusion Imam recites: Hasbun Allah wa ni’mal Wakeel, la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi Aliyyil Alheem.


Allah is sufficient for us; He is our best of guarantee ,there is no power or might except

from Allah.


Du’a recited by Imam:


Illa sharafin nabbiyyi sal-Allahu alaihi wa sallam wa alihi wa sahbihi wa ila arwahi sa-iri sadathina, Al-Fathiha. (All recite Sura Fathiha quietly).


In memory of the noble Prophet sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam; Allah’s mercy and salutation be upon his descendants and the companions and on the noble souls of our guides (of Tariqatun Naqshabandhia)


Then Imam leads off: Allah Allah

Salli ya rabbi wa sallim ala jamee-il anbiya-I wal mur-saleena, wa aali kullin ajma-eena wal hamdu lillahi rabbil alameen.


Oh Allah, extend Your Blessings and Mercy to all the prophets and Messengers. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.


Ala ashrafil ala meena seyyidina Muhammadinis-salawat:


Shower Your Blessings on the noblest of the world, our Prophet (sal)


Eyeryone recites silently:


Sal-Allahu alaihi wa sallam. (May the blessings and peace of Allah be on him)


Imam: Ala af-lalil alameena seyyidina Muhammadinis-salawat.


Shower Your Blessings on the virtuous of the world, our Prophet (sal)


Everyone recites silently:


Sal-Allahu alaihi wa sallam (May the blessings and peace of Allah be on him).


Imam: Ala akmalil alameena seyyidina Muhamadinis-salawat:


Shower Your Blessings on the Perfector of the world, our Prophet (sal)

Sal-Allahu alaihi wa sallam (May the blessings and peace of Allah be on him).


Imam recites the following Du’a:


Salawatullahi ta’ala wa mala-ikathihi wa anbiya-ihi wa rusulihi wa jamee-i- khalkihi ala Muhammadiw wa ala ali Muhammadin alaihi wa alaihi-mus salam, wa rahma-thullahi ta’ ala wa barakathuhu wa ralli-Allahu tabaraka wa ta’ala an-sadatina as-haabi rasulillahi ajma-een. Wa anith taabi-eena bihim bi-ihsanin, wa anil a-immatil muj-taheenal ma dheen, wa anil ulama-il muttakeen, wa anil awlia is saliheen, wa ammasha i-khina fit-tariqatin naqshabandhiyathil a-liyyati, kadda-sallahu ta’ala ar-wa ha-humuz zakiyya, wa nawwa rallahu ta’ala allri-hata humul mubaraka, wa addhallahu ta’ala alaina min barakaatihim wa fuyoolatihim da-iman wal hamdu illahi rabbil alameen. Al Fathiha:



Almighty Allah, His Angles, His Prophets, His Messengers and His creations extend their blessings to our Rasool Mohammed sal Alahu alaihi wa sallam. Their blessings and affectionate sentiments are also with his family and companions. May Allah sanctify the souls of the saints, the learned Ulema and all our Sheiks of the glorified Tariqatun Naqshabandhia. May Allah shower upon them His Mercy and Virtues and brighten up their graves. May these blessed souls pray for the well-being of those participating in this Zikr Majlis in their spiritual and material life. Praise be to Allah

Imam then follows up with this Du’a:


Ila halratin nabiyyi sal-allahu alaihi wa sallama wa alihi wa sahbihi wa ila arwahi sa-iril anbiya-i- wal mursaleena, wa kudama-i- shara-ihim wa ila arwahi mashaikhina fit- tariqatin naqshabandhiyatil aliyyati khasatan ila roohi imamit tariqati wa ghousil khalikati khwaja baha-uddin Naqshabandiyyi Muhammadin nil-Uvaisiyyil Bukhariyyi, wa sultanil awliya-i- Moulana Abdullahi faiziyyid Dhaghistani wa usta-dhi usta-dina Abdil Khalikil Ghudawaniyil wa Sultan ul Awliya Moulana Sheikh Nazim al Haqqani al fathiha:


May our humble recital of Fathiha reach the Holy Prophet sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam, his family and descendants and his companions.May it also reach the numerous prophets, messengers, protectors and interpreters of Sharia’t and the Sheiks and Masters of the glorified Tariqatun Naqshabandhia. May it in particular reach the Imam of our Tariqat, Sheik Khwaja Baha-uddin An Naqshabandiyyi Muhammad il Uwaisyyil Buhary (Qaddasallahu Sirrahul Azeez), Sultan-ul-Awliya Moulana Abdullah al Faizi ad-Daghistani (Qaddasallahu Sirrahul Azeez) and our Sheik ul-Khabeer Abdul Khaliq al-Ghudawani (Qaddasallahu Shrahul Azeez) and Sultan ul Awliya Moulana Sheikh Nazim Al Haqqanni

Du’a Imam offers suitable Du’a of his own choice and closes the Zikr session with:


Subhanallahi wal humdu illahi wa la ilaha illallahu wallaahu Akbar, wala hawla wala quwwata illa billahil aliyyil adheem. (Thrice)


Glory be to Allah. Praise be to Allah. There is no God but Allah. Allah is the Greatest.


Subhana rabbika rabil izzathi amma yasifuna wa salamun alal mursaleena wal hamdu lillahi rabbil alameen.


Glory to our Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power. Peace on the apostles and Praise to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.


Closing up the Zikr Majlis: All participants exchange salaams expressing love (muhabba) and fraternity.


NOTE: Moulana Sheikh Nazim says that because of the bad times ahead it is very good to recite Salatan Tunjina also before the conclusion of the zikr.


Salatan Tunjina


Allahumma salli ala Sayyidina Muhammadin salatan tunjina biha min jami al ahwali wal afat wa taqdi lana biha jami‘a al hajjat wa tutahiruna biha min jami‘a as-sayyiat wa tarfauna biha ‘indaka ala darajat wa tubalighuna biha aqsa al ghayat min jami‘a al khayrat fil hayati wa bad al mamaat wa ala alihi wa sahbihi wa sallim tasliman kazira


O Allah pray on our Master Muhammad a prayer by means of which we will be saved from every awe-inspiring harmful thing, and that will take care of all of our needs, and purify us by means of it from all of our ugly qualities and characteristics and raise us and purify us by means of it from all of our ugly qualities and characteristics and raise us up by means of it in Your Presence to the highest of degrees, and cause us to reach by means of it the extremes of all goodness in our life and after our death and this prayer be upon his family and his companions and may he be given safety and much salaam.
